Single Batch: serves 2, Double Batch: serves 4
Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 pieces of whole grain bread
2 Tbps of nut butter
1/4 cup chopped cashews
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 chopped dried dates
2 tsp ground flax seed
Cinnamon
Directions:
1. Toast pieces of bread
2. Spread 1 Tbps of nut butter on each piece of toast
3. Divide cashews, blueberries, and dates between pieces of toast
4. Sprinkle 1 tsp of ground flax seed and sprinkle cinnamon on each piece
5. Enjoy!
My toddler eats this up!! It’s a great way to get more nutrients into our diet instead of the regular PB/Toast combo. Pick a whole grain bread that has little to no added sugars. Dave’s Killer Bread is our favorite. Eat for a quick breakfast or filling snack!
